Our passion for sustainability and green energy has led Garden Court Distilleries to venture into the renewable power generation, especially in Wind and Solar power.
In the year 2003 we set up a 350KW capacity wind mill in a high wind zone of Satara District, Maharashtra. In 2006, we have setup another 1.25 MW capacity wind mill in Sangli District, Maharashtra.
Both the wind mills are connected to the state electricity grid and the power generated is sold to the state electricity utility company.
Garden Court Distilleries has invested in Shri Saibaba Green Power Pvt ltd, a 5 MW solar power project, spread over 33 acres in the Latur district of Maharashtra.
The power is generated using Photovoltaic Thin Film technology. The solar power plant is connected to the state grid and the power generated is sold to National Vidyut Vyapar Nigam ltd.
Our objective is to contribute to our country's goals of renewable energy thus ensuring a healthy and green future for our future generations.
